An asteroid swooped by Earth
NASA monitored an asteroid swooped by Earth. The space agency has recently taken the first detailed images of asteroid 2008 OS7. Its diameter is 650 to 1,640 meters, with a distance between 200 and 500 meters. It passed 1.8 million miles or 2.9 million kilometers from Earth in early February. That is in cosmic terms is quite close. A NASA explained, the distance of that asteroid is 7.5 times the distance between our planet and the moon, NASA explained.
Does the asteroid swooped by Earth scare our planet?

Threat of Collision from Asteroids
